8th June 2024 is going to be celebrated as Global Wellness day. The purpose of celebrating this day is to ask “how can I live a healthier and better life”, need to direct the thought of individuals as well as of society towards living well to raise awareness.
The theme of this year is Magenta Nature. The theme is taken as Magenta nature as magenta is the color of Universal harmony and emotional balance. It promotes compassion, kindness and cooperation. It is the color of cheerfulness, happiness, contentment and appreciation so this Global Wellness day reconnect with the nature - inviting individuals to embrace the transformative power of harmonizing with elements around them.
The theme revolves around the central idea of reconnecting with nature, if we connect harmoniously with nature it leads to a total will being. Nature not only nurtures our Physical health but also mental & spiritual. The essence is not just to celebrate but to call for action. Individuals are actively working for their own well being and contributing to the world around them, so this Global Wellness day the following steps can be taken to improve overall Wellness.
Eat natural nourish yourself, embrace the natural foods, use more of fresh fruits and vegetables. Use the senses in Vibrant color, the flavor of the food and make your every meal a celebration. Diversified wholesomeness of different fruits and veggies is a gift of nature.
Be in nature, step into nature, see the serenity, see the different plants, listen to birds, see a garden around. Surround Yourself with nature by living in nature. Let the sun kiss your skin, feel the air, listen to the sounds of nature and make them the backdrop of your daily life to enjoy it.
Protect nature, save your environment. We must put a conscious effort to reduce our ecological footprints. Embrace the sustainable practices- recycle, reduce and reuse. By protecting nature we preserve the sanctity of our shared home for generations to come.
Being in nature, spirituality fosters a deep connection with the natural world. It can be through meditation, mindfulness. Take time to be in nature, allow yourself to connect with nature.
